You can edit by going to Contribution Manual, then select a page. After that, 
when the page is displayed you can edit it.

If you want to add a new page to the manual, go to Create content, add Book 
page, and in "Book outline" section, select in which book you want to add the 
page (for example contribution manual).

I think that should be ok for what you want to do?
