My current Sid package of KDEnlive (0.7.3-4) is crashy, I cannot even get
the splash screen up.

>From the commandline:
eljefe at bigboi:~$ kdenlive
KCrash: Application 'kdenlive' crashing...
sock_file=/home/eljefe/.kde/socket-bigboi/kdeinit4__0
eljefe at bigboi:~$

Here is its backtrace:

Application: Kdenlive (kdenlive), signal SIGSEGV

Thread 1 (Thread 0xb5d24710 (LWP 31492)):

#0 0xb7fa3424 in __kernel_vsyscall ()

#1 0xb65fa350 in nanosleep () from /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6

#2 0xb65fa18e in sleep () from /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6

#3 0xb7da70f8 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.5

#4 0x00000000 in ?? ()

I always had good performance with the Debian-Multimedia packages provided
by Christian Marillat, but this one seems to be the official Debian package
as maintained by Patrick Matthäi <pmatthaei at debian.org>.

Does anyone else have these issues? I'm checking here before I file a bug
report in case... i dunno, in case I am running it wrong or something :p
