I was really happy to hear your message. So i tried the current SVN of KDE4 
kdenlive and mlt and ffmpeg but i always get a crash here on my laptop:
This is very strange because with the same build script on my pc i can start 
it. May be it could be a problem with the start-stop-refresh speed here on 
the laptop? It is a Intel Duo Core with 2,0 GHz. The pc is a slower Intel P4 
HT. Or could it be a problem that i have installed a 32bit system (opensuse 
11.0) here on laptop although Duo Core seems to be 64bit architecture?
