Dear Friends,

I would like to start Gnome in 1280x720 resolution to make screen grabs
compatible with 720p. This is for making tutorials and uploading them to
Vimeo.

My computers have Nvidia video cards and proprietary drivers. 
My screen is 1400x1050.

Do you know a way to restrict display to a virtual size which is smaller
that the real display.

Real: 1400x1050
Virtual : 1280x720

Any help welcome.
I could not find a suitable solution on Google.
