[Kdenlive-devel] no preview of transitions and effects

hi there,
i was trying to use kdenlive 0.4 today. inserting clips and adding
transitions just worked fine. also the preview is working when i use
the timeline marker to scroll the timeline. but when i press the play
button no transition is displayed. even worse, the second clip doesn't
is not shown in the timeline monitor.
so i've tried kdenlive 0.5 svn version. but the problem seems to be
the same. am i missing something important, or is previewing effects
and transistions just not working at the moment?


btw, when starting the svn version kdenlive didn't start with an error
that libavformat.so.50 was missing. so i had to symlink from
livavformat.so.
