Results:
Section rendering - OK again!
Minor glitch: 
Very short mpeg2/vob video clips (<1s) are playable but not loadable by Avidemux, AVI is fine. Interesting. Avidemux bug finally? ;)

Not a single crash experienced yet! Even when swithing and creating projects.
Good work! Well, will test more :)

!! Bug in clip preview:
Clip preview is not working when project is stored and loaded again.
Hmm, seems to clip duration shrinks to 0:00:00 for any clip from previewer perspective.

Minor bug - suggested ffmpeg parameters are not enough.
I used more ffmpeg configure options as you can see in:
http://www.kdenlive.org/bbforum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=68
The suggested on wiki are not enough, may audio codes will not be recognize, most notably mp3 an ac3 !

New MLT features like motion estimation and dtc not tested.
