Hmm, it reminds me of a bug occuring with older MLT versions... Which MLT are 
you using ? Did you compile it by yourself ? If you are using a recent MLT, I 
would recommand that you make distclean in MLT and reconfigure / recompile 
again.

Please also make sure you don't have 2 different installs of MLT (by default 
it installs in /usr/local but your install seems to be in /usr)
