[Kdenlive-devel] DV capture

Hello everyone.

I just managed to implement a basic capture monitor in Kdenlive (using a 
dvgrab pipe) that allows users to grab video from their firewire camera. I 
think it is a much wanted feature. I only did a few tests, but it seems to be 
working. You can preview video while capturing, and use controls to forward / 
rewind / pause the tape.

I originally planned to release Kdenlive 0.4 tomorrow (well today in fact), 
but I think I can manage to finish & commit the required changes for capture 
monitor in the next 2 days. This will introduce 4 or 5 new strings, but I 
think it is worth delaying the release for 3-4 more days if we can have dv 
grabbing added.

So unless this is a big problem for you, I propose to make the official 
release of Kdenlive on next monday (27 nov).
