[Kdenlive-devel] translation test?

Hi 

@jb: here is the latest completed german translation. Can you please merge it 
into SVN?

My question is: What i have to do to test my translation on my local machine? 
I ceck out SVN open de.po in kbabel, translate, save and compile. But there 
are no new translations in. What should i do execpt this to test it on my 
machine?
