[Kdenlive-devel] Crash on startup

Im really looking forward to using kdenlive, ive just got a digital camcorder, 
unfortunately it dies instantly on startup, just after the gui loads.

This looks like the interesting bit from a bt:

If it helps, kino crashes when using xvideo, as does cinelerra, so it may be 
related to that.  As a fallback, kino allows the use of gdk instead of 
xvideo.
