I've installed Kdenlive on another computer and now I get the crash 
whenever I click on an image file in the project tree.

Here's the command line output:

Failed to load plugin: /usr/share/mlt/modules/libmltavformat.so: undefined 
symbol: NeAACDecOpen
KCrash: Application 'kdenlive' crashing...

Also, on this installation, it's not able to load .avi files from a still 
digital camera, whereas my original install had no such problem.
