[Kdenlive-devel] Kdenlive crashing on startup

Jean-Michel,

I was crashing at startup as well with both the latest svn source and the 
0.3 source.  The solution I found (by rummaging through the mail archives) 
was to compile MLT as described:
http://kdenlive.sourceforge.net/downloads.php

but also adding --avformat-svn to the configure options, so:

./configure --enable-gpl --enable-shared --enable-theora --enable-vorbis 
--enable-libogg --enable-pp --enable-shared-pp --enable-motion-est 
--avformat-svn

After making MLT clean, reconfiguring, and making again, kdenlive starts 
just fine.  I haven't had a chance to use it yet so I don't know if it 
will function (this will be my first time using kdenlive)
