Hi.

I cannot reproduce this crash. From the backtrace, I would say there is 
a problem in your MLT install.

Please try to clean the mlt and mlt++ repositories (make clean), update both of them (cvs up), then reconfigure (Make sure MLT's configure output doesn't give any error) , recompile and reinstall them. 

After that, recompile kdenlive.

Let me know if that fixes it.
