[Kdenlive-devel] Developpment update...

Hello everyone.

Just a short message to keep you informed about kdenlive's current 
developpement & problems.

I've just committed code to revive the workspace monitor. You can now put 
clips in the timeline and scrub/play the result.

Still not working in the timeline: 

* When playing from timeline, the position cursor doesn't move since it caused 
random crashes (to be investigated)

* The scene list creation is still based on old code & far from optimal. There 
is currently no mixing, so only the lowest track can be seen/heard

Very annoying bug:

* If I try to add a new clip to the project through the menus and the preview 
is not hidden in the file open dialog, it will crash kdenlive with following 
message:

mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding
Failed to end player process

I have currently no clue as how to solve this issue. As a workaround, you can 
disable the preview from the file dialog or add clips by dragging the files 
in the Project List.
