Hi,

I have added a little LED to the monitor to let you know when the renderer is 
connected. (It lights up when a renderer is connected).

I realise this isn't the most informative thing, and it doesn't tell you if, 
for instance, the rendering process failed to launch or not, But i'll try and 
think of the most appropriate way to display error messages next.
