Oops, forgot to mention :

You need to run

autoheader
aclocal
autoconf
automake
configure
make 

in I believe that order (autoheader + aclocal might be the other way round). I 
think it might be worth rewriting the build system without KDevelop's 
intervention at some point in the future...
