I see the same behaviour on my system where I have specifically set the
"Double-click to open files and folders (select icons on first click)" rule.

Another Archlinux user who is using the standard packages (I'm using kdemod)
also reports the same behaviour.

This is most definitely a *critical* bug and not the expected behaviour. People
have already lost data as a result.
