This sounds a bit shizophrenic. Either it is the expected behaviour, which
means its what the user should expect/does expect. Or its not.

Anyway, can you please provide the usability tests/data you have to back up
your claim.

Besides, the original reporter seemingly doesn't know about the auto-completion
in the filename field.
