I have the same situation. My laptop froze for some reason and I rebooted it
and this crash now comes every time I login. Only thing I did between the first
initial boot and freezing was [UPGRADE] libakonadiprivate1
1.0.0-0ubuntu3~hardy1~ppa1 -> 1.0.0-0ubuntu4~hardy1~ppa1, but I downgraded the
package back and it didn't help.

I'm also running Kubuntu 8.04 + KDE 4.1.2
