           Product: kdelibs
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdelibs-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: langv.msei comcast net

Version: 4.0.0 (using KDE KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

made a clean install (deleted .kde4, uninstalled kde4 3.97.2, re-installed 4.0.0 via OpenSuse 1-click install)

Symptom: dolphin does not start from menu; tried to start dolphin from konsole; not sucessful with following error message
"(Soprano) Error occured in thread 3056446256 : "The name org.kde.NepomukServer was not provided by any .service files" (Soprano) Error occured in thread 3056446256 : "The name org.kde.NepomukServer was not provided by any .service files" (Soprano) Error occured in thread 3056446256 : "The name org.kde.NepomukServer was not provided by any .service files"
(Soprano) Error occured in thread 3056446256 : "The name org.kde.NepomukServer was not provided by any .service files"

checked in System configuration -> advanced -> service manager: Nepomuk server is NOT running (even so it is in the "Start-up services"

tried to setup nepomuk with "kcmshell4 kcm_nepomuk" and received error message: "The Nepomuk server kded4 module is not running. The settings will be used the next time the server is started" (I checked that kded4 is in fact running).

How can the Nepomuk server started manually? What needs to be changed in which config file to start it automatically? Is there a log file which gives more insight?
