I can reproduce it reliably every time.
Some more information: It used to work with a slightly older kdelibs, but 
crashes with the one from today.
The problem is most probably not a KMail problem, because KMail simply calls 
KRun with the URL. 
From the backtrace, it seems like it is a new KIO::Connection problem.
