I did not compiled new versions. Now I'm waiting for a RPM-packages for my Fedora ;)

But about the trouble. I have downloaded all tarballs, read step-by-step instruction on kde.org, created new user kde-devel and worked with it. I have found function calls, but did not find any function definitions.
There is a new version, and release will be soon, and I think this trouble was fixed.
