I've been surprised when I installed my Mandriva 2008.0 : I cannot use the combination key + scroll up/dow (for exemple the very useful CTRL + Scroll to zoom). This doesn't work for every application, KDE or not (Firefox, Inkscape, Gimp as well).

I tried to isolate the problem, and it seems KDE is the problem :
 - Xorg receives the good signals from my mouse (xev has a different output depending on if I press the key when scrolling)
 - The other programs work perfectly on the others systems I have on my computer. The only difference I see is the KDE version.

Nobody could help me on IRC neither on KDE forums.
