system settings opening some "Progess" dialogs

Hi,

can someone tell me if this is a bug or intentional that when I open
system-settings/Look&Feel/Appearance
2 or 3 "Progress" Dialogs pop up for 2-3 seconds and vanish again before I can 
use that kcm module ?
