KDE Connect on Linux - Android Tablet as Second Screen

I ask as I can't believe nobody has thought of this before: has anyone considered adding the facility to KDE Connect on Linux to connect to an Android tablet and use it as a second screen?  

I note that https://userbase.kde.org/KDEConnect says that a missing feature on Android is "Virtual Display".  Does this mean that someone's thought about it and there's a problem with implementing it?   

I know next to nothing about this sort of thing but might be prepared to give it a go if I thought there was the remotest chance of success.
