Play Protect Removal

Hello,

Just a few minutes ago, I saw the play protect notice and came across the post about it on Reddit. I had installed KDE Connect from F-Droid. I do not know which version, but I tend not to update F-Droid installs as often as I should so I expect it may have been a month or two old. Almost certainly not the latest from 2 weeks ago. Current Android version is 14. The message Google gave was "This app is fake. It can steal your personal data, such as banking info and passwords."

Hopefully this information proves useful to your investigation somehow.
