Hi Sushant,
Firstly, the photo plugin was mostly designed for integration into other
apps (for instance, I believe KItinerary uses it to allow you to
photograph transportation tickets)
You can use it without any other app using the kdeconnect-cli:
kdeconnect-cli -d <device id> --photo=/path/to/photo.jpg
Secondly, Android has severely limited what an app can do while in the
background. The intention is that the photo request will cause the
camera to open on your phone and allow you to take a picture, but in my
testing unless the KDE Connect app is already open, it doesn't always
work. I wish Android would stop breaking us :(
