The Zorin guys (which I didn't know existed) got approved and we didn't 😅

Anyway, we might need to make a video like theirs and I won't have the time
this week because I've just started a new job (today is my second day).
Anyone wants to do this?

Albert

Hi Albert,
Firstly, I wanted to thank you for your work on KDE Connect.

I've noticed on the Google Play Store page that you had trouble with
publishing the newest version of the KDE Connect app because of Google's
SMS policy. I wanted to give you a bit of help so that the full version of
the KDE Connect app with SMS support could be published again.

Last week, we went through the same issues when we published our Zorin
Connect <https://github.com/ZorinOS/zorin-connect-android> app (based on
KDE Connect, but with more consistent theming with Zorin OS
<https://zorinos.com/>). After some back and forth with the Play Store
team, they clarified that we needed to make a video showing how the
permissions were granted as well as the functionality that uses the
permissions (stating that this functionality is apart of the core
functionality of the app). Here is an example of our video which you can
use for reference: https://youtu.be/fNqWEJe9o38
In the declaration form, also make sure to select "Cross-device
synchronization or transfer of SMS or calls".

If you need any more assistance with this, let me know and I'll be happy to
help.

Best regards,
Artyom Zorin
