I noticed exactly the same problem. I disallowed kde connect accessing mobile data.

Thanks Albert. But the usage is that of mobile data and not wifi. I didn't understand what you meant by "Android OS has no way to know it." You mean to say Android miscalculated the wifi data for mobile data?

It uses wifi to talk to your computer or other kdeconnects on the network. It *never* reaches the Internet, but the Android OS has no way to know it.

Hi Guys,
I recently noticed the the KDE connect app was using mobile data in the background. But I couldn't find out any reason as to why ? Afaik, it uses wifi only. Can someone explain as to why it used mobile data?
I am using the latest version of KDEConnect app and the desktop version should be the latest one available in fedora repo. (i don't know the exact versions at the moment.)
Regards,
Anton
