SMS Reply on desktop not working

I'm not sure what you mean. In what situation should the accept and
reject button be visible? The phone is paired and I get notifications
from the phone for a lot of things, receiving SMS is one of them but in
the list of notifications there is no button for answering the SMS. Is
there an image of this available on the net somewhere so that I can see
for myself how it's supposed to work?
I use openSUSE 42.1, KDE Plasma 5.5.5.
