Contacts sync from Android?

Hi all,

I just discovered KDEConnect, and I have it working and it does some 
rather nice things. However, there's one thing that I'm interested in 
doing that it may not do, hence this question:

Can I sync contacts from my Android phone to KDE?

I see that the app has permission to read contacts, and I see Yang 
Qiao's blog post [1] about having implemented contacts sync for iOS. But 
if there is a way to do this for Android, I don't see it.
