File location and a kaffeine glitch

Afternoon all 

 i run a dual monitor system but had a bit of a issue i dont really understand i
 have lost the panel from the right hand monitor  and no matter what i try i
 van not get it back i can setup another panel on the left hand primary display
 bu not the secondary  every thing else works just can not for the life of me
 get a replacement panel and i dont seem to be able to drag one across either
 , so what i was hoping to do was compare the configuration of both left and
 right monitors but i cant find where this is stored   question where are these
 stored .


Also Kaffeine has refused to play TV for a while now every other part works
fine but tv not a hop o believe it may be a permissons thing but what and where
i am at a loss
