Bouncing Kate

Hello list,

Just recently I've had Kate appending itself to my K-menu favourites list. I
don't remember having ever used it, but still it insists.

Is there something I can poke to get rid of this? The way programs are
packaged in Gentoo makes it awkward, though not impossible, to uninstall just
Kate; it's included in a meta-package with a lot of others.
