rename your /HOME/.kde(4)/share/apps/nepomuk folder, with no running Kmail and 
preferrably akonadictl stop.

Reboot and watch cpu spike while nepomuk rebuilds for some hours, depending of 
size of Kmail and your files (given you use desktop search).
