Weird directory sort order

Hi!

I have a directory containing folders of images. The directory names are
prepended by a date to achieve a sort order by date. This works perfect with
almost any program. E.g. the output of `ls` looks like this

200709xx_trophy
200808xx_kroati
20090316_copy
20090328_cachin
200903xx_misc
20090426_pyhra
20090428_grafen
200904xx_hr
20090630_kinder
20090720_flussu
200907xx_kroati

For some reason, KDE sorts this in a different ambiguous way.

Q: How to change the sort order in KDE to produce the same order as `ls`?
