Dear Frederik

The more I play Shisen Sho, the slower the program gets. It is now pausing
between tile removals for more than 5 seconds. This makes the game
impossible
to play at any speed. I also notice that the Kshisen clock also slows
up, so that
at this ridiculous speed of one tile removal every 5 seconds, it is
possible to remove
all the tiles in less than 3 minutes for the 18x8 board. According to
the Kshisen
clock that is. I am using version 1.8.2 with KDE version 4.7.2. I use
the siduction
distribution (based on Debian sid). Latest kernel is
     3.2-9.towo.1-siduction-686 #1 SMP PREEMPT
Please look at kshisen to see why it is pausing between tile removals.
When I run
the program from an xterm, it outputs copious messages. Here is a sample:
--------------
Moving from "playing" 2 to "paused" 4
About to finish
State change
Moving from "paused" 4 to "ready" 1
Setting new source
New source: QUrl( "file:///usr/share/sounds/kshisen/tile-touch.ogg" )
Transitioning to state "playing"
Transitioning to state "ready"

I like playing Shisen Sho: just the thing to relax from software
development, but I don't like playing it waiting for all the 5 second pauses.

Sincerely
