Calendar widget broken in 4.7?

Yes please.  It shows Holidays and Akonadi events, but is blank if there are 
none.  We should probably have a header or message of some sorts if there are 
no events or holidays in that month, and no space if the user doesn't have 
Holidays or Events enabled.

One suggestion was also to show a mini weather forcast in that space, or the 
other selected timezones.
