KMail no longer shows tet from old mail in replies.

Suse 11.3, KMail 1.13.5, KDE 4.4.4 release 3.

Problem as per subject.

Any fix I can do to get the quoted text (or all the text if none selected) to 
show in a reply?

I have enabled Smart Quoting (not sure what that is) in the KMail set up.
