using Konsole --tabs-from-file

I'm trying to use Konsole's --tabs-from-file option but not having any 
success with a tab-file that tries to execute a command to   

         cd foo && vi bar

A line like

  title: MyTitle;; command: cd foo && vi bar

results in "can't find cd"

A line like

  title: MyTitle;; command: bash -c "cd foo && vi bar"

results in "unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"'"

There are few examples I can find other than to do ssh.

Does anyone else use this feature?
