Stop Kmail from removing leading spaces

Are you sure that it is not messed up because kmail is not using fixed width 
fonts to show the mail? The above looks like some random characters when i use 
proportional font but i see a picture when i ask kamil to show the msg in fixed 
width font (right click on the message view for the toggle option)
