kcolorchooser crashes

KDE 4.4.90 (RC1) on openSUSE 11.2 -- a few days ago i found that 
kcolorchooser crashes whenever i try to use the dropper tool to sample 
some color from the screen. can somebody please try this, so i know if i 
messed things up or if it's a bug?
