dolphin sftp: configure max simulations sftp

hi list
Using dolphin to connecting to a sftp server gets kicked me out if I 
upload an browse the sftp server at the same time. I ask my provider 
about this and hes responded that he blocks the ip if  a clients try to 
establish 7 connections in 15 seconds.  So is it possible to configure 
the number of simulations connections somehow?
