Taskbar grouping problems

This is especially a problem with Kwrite and Firefox windows. I
literally have to play hide and seek with the tool tip to select a
window sometimes.  I'd be happy to help out resolving this in any way
I can. I can also provide a screen capture if you'd like to illustrate
the problem.
