News Ticker Plasmoid

Dear KDE community

I am using the KDE 4.1 and have the News Ticker plasmoid on my desktop.  It
shows the news headings and when I point the mouse cursor over on of these
headings I get a synopsis of the story, but clicking on the heading does not
do anything.  Is this the way that this plosmoid is supposed to work or is
there some trick in getting the full story from the news ticker?
