Why only 4 virtual desktops in pager

I have the kdebase packages installed with no newer versions reported.
Does anyone know where opensuse packages the Desktop Effects and Multiple 
Desktops modules?

When I click on "Configure Desktops..." in Pager Settings (right click on 
pager tool) nothing happens.
