howto use networkmanager-applet

Come to think about it, something is definitely wrong here.
Why, every time I click on my network on the networkmanager-applet 
popup, it adds a new network?
Why wont it "see" it's already on the list of added connections, and it 
even has a password assigned...

Like this it's impossible to connect!
Unless there's something that I'm not doing correctly...
