KDE4 font corruption.

I compiled qt-4.5 (on purpose because of qtcreator), and then installed 
kde4 (clean install - no previous kde).
Using sabayon 4 Lite, now with kde4.

Well, no such problem with gnome.
This is not such a big problem.

The big problem is the lack of the wireless connection knetworkmanager.
I need that, or similar.
Any Ideas? How do you guys connect to a wireless network? Command line? (Oo)

Also need the synaptics touchpad to work correctly. (no scrooling or 
applet) but this one is not so important for now.
