I presume you mean this FAQ: http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Plasma/FAQ

It does not indicate that there is no plan to implement this feature.

In fact, that feature will be added eventually. Fill a bug against plasma in
bugs.kde.org to make sure it doesn't get overlooked.
