KDE4 - Change Desktop wallpaper white screen

Hi

When I change desktop wallpaper on kde (4.0.2) for a jpg file,
they change it to a white screen.

Impossible to come back to another screen

is they a compilation option I miss ?

Can I found the problem somewhere in a log ?
