Add "delete this directory" to Konqueror?

Is it possible to add custom buttons to Konqueror? I need a button
that will erase the current directory (and recursively all directories
in it). This should be easy to script in bash, but how to attach the
script to a button in Konqueror?

I'm using KDE 3.5.8, but if a KDE4-only solution exists, I would be
interested in hearing it as well. Thanks in advance.
